Ghent-Authentic's new year - a lot to be grateful for !

In 2017 we had a lot to be grateful for! It was the year during which our team expanded and forged some exciting partnerships. In March the highly anticipated new library of Ghent, the Krook, opened its doors. To develop a signature, behind the scenes, contemporary architecture tour was quite a challenging however much rewarding endeavor. It turned out to become one of our most popular tours of 2017!  In July we created the Ghent-Authentic style 'Apero Opera' tours for the Opera of Ghent and how much fun it was to have this landmark building all to ourselves :) It was also the year during which Ghent-Authentic's founder Kristel Vereecken gave her Ted Talk 'A square meter of soul' and the Ghent-Authentic team became 'De slimste Gentenaar' or in English 'The smartest Ghentian 2018', a highly attended and mostly entertaining quiz about Ghent.

In 2018 we want to use this positive energy to be at our utmost creative! First thing coming up is the Ghent light festival at the end of January! It will be without any doubt again a spectacular edition and we are very much looking forward to take you on one of our light festival tours.

But first things first! Above anything we look forward meeting YOU in 2018 and inspire you in our hometown Ghent!
