For Ghent-Authentic passion and personality is key and the city is our playground and we tend to take the game very seriously ☺ To stay on top of our game, we do a lot of research, especially in winter when the season is slower and colder. 

Doing research at Ghent-Authentic is a team effort that doesn’t have to be boring as the pictures of our recent trip to the Van Eyck exhibition in the Boijmans/Van Beuningen museum in Rotterdam show ☺

Tijdens de donkere dagen is Gent magisch mooi. Dankzij de zorgvuldig uitgekozen en ontworpen verlichting komen de Middeleeuwse stenen, kerken en straatjes volop tot hun recht. Geen wonder dat Vlaanderen Vakantieland er onlangs een stemmige reportage over maakte !

What a talented, beautiful, lovely actress and person Romy Schneider was and must have been. Handwritten letters, pictures, garments and screenings shown in the church of the medieval former monastery of the 'Karmelieten' give us an insight in her professional as well as her personal life. How life that started off so promising could end in such a tragic way.

The exhibition is a must-see!
